Sightings of a rare pink dolphin in the waters of Louisiana have captivated both locals and marine scientists. Unlike the famous Amazon pink river dolphin, this dolphin’s color is believed to come from a rare genetic condition—most likely albinism or leucism—in a bottlenose dolphin.
