Alan Myers needs little introduction to Evertonians - once one of the first Press Officers in the Premier League with the blues, Alan worked in the inner circles of the club. He then joined Sky Sports where he held roles on and off camera for over twenty years, also rejoining Everton as Director of Communications under Roberto Martinez. Part way through our discussion, we were unexpectedly joined by Tony Grant, a boyhood blue who came through the academy to play for the toffees in the nineties.
