One of the things that parents do and it’s a really huge mistake is you over explain yourself. The more you explain, the more they complain, because they pulled you in. For example, if there’s a consequence which you have explained because they break a rule, and they start complaining and asking more questions saying they don’t understand, that’s when I see parents start to get reeled in and over explaining.
