There are more options than ever for elbow surgery, and as elbows are one of the most common problem areas I see in my specialist practice, I believe everyone should know about and have access to choose those options. Darwin had a canine unicompartmental elbow (CUE) replacement surgery, which involved resurfacing part of the damaged elbow joint with implants to eliminate the pain of bone-on-bone rubbing. The procedure protects the good part of the elbow without having to replace the whole joint.
