Fraserburgh Lifeboat, the Tyne Class 47-007 “City of Edinburgh” on exercise with a helicopter, in the early 1990s. The Tyne Class lifeboat first came to Fraserburgh in late 1985, was named in June 1986 and served for a further 16 years until 2002 when she was replaced by the present Trent which will complete 24 years service in May 2026.
