Starting a cold, rainy, day off at Cedar Springs free fishing day for veterans. I started off on the flats instead of fishing the stocking holes to catch leftover trout. I was using the pink Appalachian Baits Cricket Spinner and it didn't take long to get results. I limited out in about an hour and a half using this spinner along with Road Kill, Blaze Orange, and Garlic Glitter dough baits. This is a private hatchery and all fish must be kept.
