Maybe I am the only one here who hates the Temu-TikTokification of Twitter/X, but the platform was strongest when writing, debate and actual conversation mattered.Now it feels increasingly optimised for cheap visual noise, recycled clips and low-effort content that feeds attention instead of thought.

Again, I love twitter so much. Instagram tends to be superficial with their analysis of truth. Many Ig folks judge truth by aesthetics and large following. Twitter is very conscious and it doesn’t care who you are. Our pastors and business leaders in Nigeria need to learn and discern the difference between oratory skills and wisdom. What Vusi said in this video is hogwash! I remember him talking about an issue on IG and I had to comment that his analysis was wrong. Smh

Update: I just chatted with him and he confirmed that this is his real Twitter account. I called the account out before, because I saw a video of him saying he wasn't on Twitter. He said he just opened this one last week.

I made a bit of a tone deaf comment on this post, and a couple of Twitter bros called me out on it, rightly so. This woman says people can make marriage an idol, and I replied, people can make anything an idol. As Calvin said, the human heart is an idol factory. But what I was thinking when I wrote it was, what a stupid thing to say, not that I agreed with her.
