Many Sun Records artists including ELVIS PRESLEY, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison Charlie Rich, Billy Lee Riley and more rode in Sam Phillips' Series 62 Cadillac at some point around Memphis. Other than working at Sun, she was also a radio show host, station manager, and a U.S. Air Force officer. She is known for being the first person to record Elvis Presley on July 18, 1953 when he walked into the studio to record a demo. | Sun Records
