Another wombat treated for mange early this morning. We suspect it’s Stu, a wombat treated once last year before he disappeared. One dose Bravecto is not enough so it’s starting from scratch again and hopefully we can give him two follow up doses. Lucky for him he has most of the fur on his back but his front legs and torso is covered in thick plaques If you want to support us in helping them please do. If you wonder what a wombat sounds like, there are a few distinctive sounds but this is the one to know.. Louis is very unhappy with my presence there and already very protective of his territory.
