This video showcases the behavior of "investigate," as highlighted in the International Wolf Center's ethogram. Investigation is important for wolves as they take in their surroundings, but it's especially crucial for pups. When we welcomed the pups to the Center, they lived inside 24/7; now, they spend all day outside in the pup yard, allowing them to become familiar with their surroundings and the different objects they'll encounter regularly, as they prepare for their full outdoor experience
