Three closures down, three more to go in our westbound US 2 paving project between Lake Stevens and Everett! This past weekend, contractor crews repaved a half mile of the Hewitt Ave trestle using about 1100 tons of asphalt and enough waterproof membrane to cover almost one and a half football fields. The next full closure will be from 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10 to 4 a.m Monday, Aug. 13, and travelers will be in for some changes to the detours: http://wsdot.com/news/2018/08/03/three-weekend-closures
