To help protect them, we use drones, LiDAR, and starting soon—special sensors that will detect shifts or signs of erosion. LiDAR (light detection and ranging) is the technology you can see in this video. It creates a highly detailed 3D model of the arches, allowing us to track changes over time and spot potential issues

The sign sizes vary but they can measure 18 feet wide and weigh up to 7,000 lbs. So, it’s no small feat to replace them. Shoutout to the crews who, in order to minimize delays, did the majority of the work overnight and over weekends. 欄 #udot #utahtravels"
