A Guerrilla Gardener's Solution to Food Deserts 🍎 Ever heard of a “food desert”? That term is used to describe urban neighborhoods where people can't easily purchase nutritious and affordable food. These areas don't have well-stocked grocery stores or busy farmers markets, and they're usually full of fast-food restaurants and convenience stores. Food deserts are, of course, complicated — they exist due to age-old systems of racism and inequality. In his TED Talk, @ronfinleyhq says that teaching
