The Suwannee River is a river that runs through south Georgia southward into Florida in the Southern United States. It is a wild blackwater river, about 246 miles long. For paddlers, it offers endless varieties of paddling trips ranging from the upper reaches in Georgia to the lower reaches which eventually empty into the Gulf.
