This information was in the owners manual, which I probably didn’t read🫣 I posted about this in stories awhile ago and sooo many people said they lock their lids during cooking. But many also knew not to! The locks on this lid are solely meant for transporting the crock pot. After 20 mins of searching, I couldn’t confirm locking the clamps causes the lid to shatter. What I did confirm is that the lid will shatter when the shape of the venting hole becomes compromised and can’t properly vent. Ei
