Holothuria leucospilota, commonly known as the black sea cucumber or black long sea cucumber, is a species easily identified by its elongated, snake-like body, which is typically black or dark brown in color. It has a ventral mouth surrounded by 20 black tentacles and an anus located subdorsally. When disturbed, it may expel white, sticky Cuvierian tubules.
