Forestry and DFI are carrying out work through Muff Glen to install 10 leaky dams to help in slowing down the river in flood . Trees have been felled close to our feeding area and a red squirrel drey 🥲. Apparently Forestry carried out a survey before - one tree felled is only 40 yds from a drey . NIEA have been informed. Public are being encouraged not to walk there at present but we will continue to monitor and feed the red squirrels 🐿️ | North West Red Squirrel Group
