On this day in Music History - November 30, 1968 Diana Ross And The Supremes topped the Billboard Pop chart for the eleventh time with "Love Child", a song that the group first introduced on The Ed Sullivan Show. The record would sell two million copies by the end of the year. Backing vocals were actually provided by Motown session singers The Andantes, as Mary Wilson and Cindy Birdsong did not perform on the record.
