THIS JUST IN | The Bell V-280 Valor has successfully completed the next milestone of its flight testing by flying in “cruise mode,” where the rotors pivot, in flight, from vertical lift mode to fully forward facing. The aircraft successfully reached 190 knots of true airspeed. | Bell Flight

Watch the V-280 Valor advanced tiltrotor demonstrate an external sling load operation in this new video from Bell Flight. Flight crew were able to watch the load in flight using the onboard pilotage distributed aperture sensor (PDAS) system similar to the one installed on the F-35. | Vertical Plus
