Highway 401 Closure Update #Hwy401, westbound is currently CLOSED, from Cedar Creek Road to Oxford Road 29. Closure is estimated to be until approximately 6:00 pm, while crews on scene safely clear spilt liquid asphalt. Traffic that is currently stuck between Cedar Creek Rd and Oxford Rd 29, is being detoured on the shoulder around the collision scene. Once all traffic is cleared, crews can commence scene clean up. EB Hwy401 closed at the transfer lanes approaching Hwy427. There is no access to EB 401 from NB 427. Pedestian struck after exiting his vehicle around 5am after being involved in a collision with a transport truck. Person struck by another passing vehicle.
