I almost never find fancy 1800s rings and it's even rarer to find them intact and with the jewels! They're colored glass, but the settings are so delicate that ground action usually loosens the stones and all I dig up are the bands with empty sockets. Even the tiny purple stones are still on this one! Based on the site where I dug this up, it's probably from the 1870s or 1880s as the house was abandoned after that. A gorgeous little piece of jewelry and was probably quite striking for its day! #
