"Recent games" not always showing recently played games
Oct 12, 2024 · Before, you'll play whatever games and when clicking on "All Recently Played" it would show the list with the first 3 games you can see on your profile (for recent) and it'll go down in the order you played the games. Now, it shows stuff you've played a long time ago, week ago or whatever. It's a total mess as is right now.

Well, I just logged out, and back in. Recently viewed list still there. So I logged out, rebooted my PC, logged back in. Recently viewed list still intact. Next I manually deleted my cache, which logged me off, rebooted PC, did a clean log in. Recently viewed list, still there. Not sure why your stuff would be resetting each time.

You have your games set to private, which is separate from hiding a game from your library, so nobody can see your games.

Mar 13, 2016 · For example i have 1k+ games, sometimes i want open my recently played games section and select one, but stupid steam interface scrolls down list to 6-8 month. I don't get why, but if they cant fix this let me clean this section tho

Jul 8, 2024 · mine show the recent games I played, they arent alphabetical from what I see Weird, the 3 most recent ones show correctly on the profile, but when i click "show all recently played" that list is in alphabetical order.

Jun 5, 2017 · the recent game section is the 3 most recently played games. it will bump it off the list. the "discussions about your recent games" will eventually go away as time goes on. i think a week or 2.:qr: Sounds like the problem takes care of it's self! :D Thanks for the help!

Jun 23, 2022 · Hai! I come bearing updates! The oldest game in my recently played list has finally vanished. I played the game on may 28th, 8:05am (GMT +1), and the game finally disappeared today at june 27th, 8:05am. So it seems that games stays idle on recently played list for exactly 30 days. Good to know, Thanks for the update
