I definitely recommend purchasing a Samsung MicroSD card, BUT ONLY UP TO 32 GB!!!! THE PSP WILL NOT ACCEPT LARGER SIZES. The PSP uses memory cards. Those are different and bigger in size.

The reason why is because the formatting process creates PSP specific files that you will need when you format the high capacity memory card OUTSIDE of the PSP. So, for step one - format a smaller memory card and copy the files to your computer. I suggest in a folder on your desktop.

Sep 28, 2021 · The memory limit is 2TB. I've seen people using lime 512GB cards, but to be fair, 128GB is fine. I think you can go up to 128 if it's jailbroken but it is also cheaper to buy a adapter for an micro SD card than just buying a memory card duo. The most I’ve seen work is 256gb on micro SD with the adapter.

AFAIK, only Sony and SanDisk made them; SanDisks will work in the PSP Go. Highest available capacity is 16 GB. Sony's UMD PSPs (1000, 2000, 3000, E1000) use Memory Stick Duo/Pro Duo memory cards. There are (or were) only 3 manufacturers that make/made these - Sony, SanDisk, and Lexar. Sony's PSPgo uses Memory Stick Micro M2 memory cards.

Sep 5, 2021 · Connecting the PSP to a comp and checking properties would say that the capacity was 119gb. Just for FYI, I tried this with a 1000 and a Go with several different cards using the 1 slot adapter. The cards also register just fine on my comp, and can be maxed out fully, so I am assuming there is a hardware or software limitation at play here.
