My guess is that its just meant to signify a character (the diver) who is continuing to swim in an environment that should otherwise crush/destroy/drown him. A tough shell built up to survive the tumultuous surroundings of his life. Just my perspective. Was thinking the same thing earlier today. Im waiting for a statement from Macs brother.

In the video for 'Come Back to Earth' the diver is sinking to the bottom of the ocean. In 'Good News' he's in space. The suit seems to be designed for depths AND heights.

Swimming... pretty sure it’s a scuba diver. Hes a lil nautical diver, fits with the aquatic theme. Not to get too overly deep, but, the way I interpret its significance: Swimming. You can't just swim forever. You'll eventually drown. Scubaman can swim, explore, wander, float and take his time.
