The portable version download is smaller because we use 7zip which has better compression than standard winzip, at the expense of the user needing to have 7zip on their system.

May 1, 2019 · I'm using Freecad 0.19 on HP-stream with Ubuntu 20.04 How can I input, make Freecad use fonts. I can find fontfiles on Ubuntu outside Freecad. When I will create text in Freecad I must tell where fontfile is located. Thsi does'nt work. When I fill in the path to the font freecad will not accept this. What do I wrong or what to do to make it work.
