Aug 31, 2019 · That seems reasonable. Sounds like it is limited to about what they call "3C" or a little less, which for a model 3 battery pack would be 690 amps, i.e. about 15 amps per cell. (Each cell has a capacity of about 5Ah.) I am guessing that a performance model 3 is able to draw even higher current for a short time despite having the same battery pack?

Aug 29, 2021 · I have car camped out of the Model 3 in Mammoth on occasion. Pretty amazing road trip car. That is a 350 mile road trip one way and I drive it in a day easily including a couple supercharging stops to eat and stuff. A road trip like that would've costed me $300 in gas for my 4Runner, it's like $20-30 in the Model 3 to charge.

Nov 15, 2012 · Does anybody know if 17” wheels can be put on a Model 3? I know that 19” wheels are the smallest possible for a Model S since suspension parts get in the way if you go smaller. And I know 19” is the smallest for a Model X (Tesla offers 19” winter wheels for the X). But for the Model 3 I haven’t heard what’s the smallest wheels possible.
