Malaya Grace Hammond is among the latest fatalities identified from the Texas floods. Hammond's family said she was swept away by floodwaters on Saturday in Travis County.

Mr. Trump and Melania Trump met with victims’ families and viewed some of the aftermath of last weekend’s flooding.

The U.S. President traveled to central Texas to survey damage from the July 4 flash flood that killed at least 120 people.

The region of Texas where flash flooding killed more than 90 people -- including dozens of campers -- is known for its tendency to experience flood emergencies.

It is hard to look at the heartbreak of the disaster in Texas. In Colorado past flash floods have brought similar heartache and similar threats.

Users claimed the WNBA star and her team, the Indiana Fever, donated millions of dollars to support victims of the July 2025 Texas flash floods.

"The first lady and I are here in Texas to express the love and support and the anguish of our entire nation in the aftermath of this really horrific and deadly flood," Trump said as he spoke at a roundtable event with first responders and local officials.

A retired nurse, her son and a family friend say they were lucky to survive last week's flash floods in Texas that killed more than 100 people, including many summer campers.
