The report was published in July and flagged by the Telegu Desam Party this week. However, Reddy said that the Naidu’s government had already taken over the state’s rule by that time

The controversy began when TDP leader and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu accused the previous YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) administration of using “beef tallow,” “lard” (pig fat), and fish oil in place of pure ghee to prepare the laddus at the revered Sri Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati.

Giriraj Singh called for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe to uncover why the adulterated ghee was used to prepare Tirupati laddus.
