Defensively, the Horned Frogs rose to the challenge despite missing key pieces like Markis Deal and Cooper McDonald in the front seven. Even with the litany of injuries, TCU managed to shut Oklahoma State out in the first half and held them to just 89 yards in the first 30 minutes.

TCU scored touchdowns on five consecutive drives and didn’t have to punt until less than six minutes remained in what became a 38-13 win over the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

Carter Stadium as TCU enjoyed a 38-13 victory over Oklahoma State. The Frogs rolled from start to finish and it was arguably the most complete game on both sides that TCU has played all season. TCU seized the lead right away with an opening drive field goal.

The run defense also held up against Oklahoma State star running back Ollie Gordon. Gordon did finish with 121 yards on 25 carries, but most of those yards came in the second half when TCU was ahead by three or four possessions and trying to prevent big passing plays.
