A new trailer just dropped for the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s 2019 novel Regretting You, and it’s looking like yet another weepy, life-affirming tale from the author that brought the world It Ends With Us.

Hoover's first book adaptation hit the small screen in 2017 when her novel Confess was turned into a seven-episode television series. Seven years later, in August 2024, Hoover's best-seller, It Ends with Us, premiered in theaters, marking the author's first book-to-movie adaptation.

The Colleen Hoover cinematic universe is expanding one twisted tragedy at a time. “ Regretting You ,” based on Hoover’s 2019 novel, stars Allison Williams and Dave Franco as members of an extended family whose lives are torn apart after an accident.
