Entering Week 17 of the 2024 NFL season, the race for the playoffs is heating up! Many teams are either fighting for a postseason spot or jockeying for seeding, making this week’s matchups even more interesting.

The Chiefs knocked off the Houston Texans on Saturday to improve to 14-1 and maintain their two-game lead over the Buffalo Bills (12-2) for the No. 1 seed in the AFC. They now need only one win or one Bills loss to secure the No. 1 seed and a bye in the first round of the playoffs.

The Chiefs have the lead for the AFC No. 1 seed, the Lions have the lead for the NFC No. 1 seed, and there's still plenty to be determined beyond that.
