The African National Congress (ANC) National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting has adopted the discussion documents for the party’s National General Council (NGC) scheduled for December.

The term of the current chair, Jerome Powell, is up in May 2026, and his term on the board of governors expires in January 2028.
