Massachusetts is under a red flag warning again on Tuesday as dozens of brush fires​ continue burning across the state.

State officials are now providing a detailed breakdown of 15 active fires in our state, including four in western Massachusetts.

Crews from as far away as Maine are making the journey down to Massachusetts to help the state battle large brush fires.

According to the Massachusetts Department of Fire Services (DFS), an average of 15 brush fires are reported each October statewide.

A Red Flag Warning remains in place Tuesday as brush fires continue to smolder across Massachusetts. Firefighters are on high alert and at the ready to respond to any flare-ups as windy, bone-dry conditions persist.
