The Boston Red Sox traded slugger Rafael Devers to the San Francisco Giants in a blockbuster deal on Sunday. Boston received pitcher Kyle Harrison (who was optioned to Triple-A), pitcher Jordan Hicks, outfielder James Tibbs III and pitcher Jose Bello in return.

SEATTLE — Right-handed pitcher Jordan Hicks, who the Red Sox acquired from the Giants in the Rafael Devers trade Sunday, is on the 15-day injured list with inflammation in his right big toe but he should be back fairly soon.

The trade of Rafael Devers is not exactly well-received in Boston, and now the Red Sox will have to hope the prospects they got back from the Giants can ease some of the sting. The question now is, how good are the newest Red Sox players?
