The City of Gloversville’s Water Works Department has issued a boil advisory for certain residents, officials said.

A water main break in Gloversville on Thursday caused a boil water advisory to be issued until further notice.

A boil water advisory has been issued for Gloversville following a major water main break near the intersection of Third St. and Woodside Ave.

Meteorologist Matt Mackie says temperatures will be in the mid-to-high 30s with blustery and cloudy conditions.
