The iconic Wrigley Field bleachers welcomed an unusual guest during the Chicago Cubs' series against the San Diego Padres this weekend.

This year, baseball fans at Wrigley Field can enjoy new items such as doughnuts in the shape of a baseball, jibarito sandwiches and lobster rolls.

A goose decided to temporarily nest in the bushes in the right field bleachers for the series against the Padres. That decision led the Cubs to block off some seats closest to the goose. The team was in contact with some local wildlife groups to safely relocate the bird, but it flew off sometime last night.

The Chicago Cubs and Texas Rangers will meet on Wednesday at Wrigley Field, at 2:20 p.m. ET, with Nico Hoerner and Marcus Semien among those expected to produce at the plate. The Cubs' 4.23 team ERA ranks 15th across all MLB pitching staffs. The Rangers strike out nine batters per nine innings as a pitching staff, ninth-best in MLB.
