Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will continue to form the batting core of India's ODI squad but there are at least three senior players who can miss out when the selectors gather this weekend to pick the squad for the Champions Trophy.

Not only the form of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli came under scanner but rumours began to read about Rohit retiring from the longest format of the game following his decision to opt out of the match.

Not just Gambhir as coach, but skipper Rohit Sharma and main batter Virat Kohli are also under the scanner after the horror show Down Under. Kohli made 190 runs in nine innings at an average of 23.75.
