The API field was released late Friday afternoon and 47 of the top-50 players on the world rankings have committed. The only absences are two players on the LIV Golf League, No. 8 Tyrrell Hatton and No. 11 Bryson DeChambeau, and No. 45 Rasmus Hojgaard, who is not eligible for the event.

Xander Schauffele is scheduled to return to the Arnold Palmer Invitational as part of a star-studded field. The world No. 2 hasn’t competed on the PGA Tour since the season-opening Sentry in early January or in a TGL event citing a rib injury. Schauffele is in the lineup for New York in the TGL on Monday.
