Microsoft has acquired 240 acres in the City of Kenosha for a data center, city officials said Monday. Few details were made public, but the project would be in addition to the $3.3 billion center the company has under construction in Mount Pleasant in Racine County.

The City of Kenosha has already unanimously passed ordinances in December 2024 to rezone the property, allowing for a potential data center.
