East Bengal defender Anwar Ali has received a massive boost after getting No Objection Certificate (NOC) from All India Football Federations Players Status Committee on Thursday ().

Anwar Ali has received the NOC to officially join East Bengal FC in the ISL after a legal dispute with Mohun Bagan. While the ban is lifted, his future awaits a final verdict later this month.
