Amari Jefferson is a crucial addition for the Vols, who lost five receivers to the portal in December. Jefferson should compete for a starting spot.

A five-star recruit by On3 out of Bloomingdale, Fla., Hall committed to Alabama in 2021 but left the program after being suspended by Nick Saban in April 2022 for violating team rules. He had four catches for 72 yards in his freshman season at Alabama in 2021.

After NFL Draft departures, 23 players transferring out and six players transferring in, Alabama ’s scholarship count unofficially sits at around 80 players, meaning there’s plenty of room for additions,

Alabama football is still in the roster-building stages ahead of the 2025 season. A few pieces are locked in with LT Overton, Justin Jefferson, Domani Jackson and Deontae Lawson each returning for the 2025 season.

Amari Jefferson was committed to play for Tennessee baseball out of Baylor School before committing to Alabama football. He transferred to the Vols.
