Connecticut Sun All-Star free agent center Brionna Jones is signing with the Atlanta Dream, just days after the team traded Alyssa Thomas.
Jones helped the Sun reach the WNBA Finals in 2019 and 2022, winning Sixth Player of the Year in the latter season.
In the 2024 campaign, Brionna Jones played in all 40 games, averaging 13.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and 0.6 blocks per contest in Connecticut.

But on Jan. 28, Griner reportedly agreed to a deal with the Atlanta Dream, which would be the 34-year-old's second WNBA team after spending 11 seasons in Phoenix. Fellow top free agent Brionna Jones on Jan. 30 also reportedly agreed to join Atlanta, a major double haul for the franchise.
Jones is a three-time All-Star and has played her entire career with the Connecticut Sun after being drafted No. 8 in 2017.
