Joburg Super Kings defeated league leaders Paarl Royals by seven wickets as their skipper Faf du Plessis led the run-chase with a commanding 87 from 55 deliveries to comfortably go past Royals' total of 150 for 9.

Paarl Royals have made history in the SA20. The franchise qualified for the playoffs, while the Durban Super Giants were eliminated.

Paarl Royals became the first team in SA20 history to win all five of their home matches during a single season after beating Durban's Super Giants by six wickets with one ball to spare on Monday.

MI Cape Town secured their place in the SA20 play-offs with a 10-wicket thrashing of defending champions Sunrisers Eastern Cape. Chasing 108 to win Ryan Rickelton (59 not out off 36 balls) and Rassie van der Dussen (48* off 30) powered them to a 10-wicket win with 54 balls remaining.
