At noon Saturday, protesters were crowded into City Hall Plaza in Downtown Dallas and Burk Burnett Park in Downtown Fort Worth.
No Kings has identified on its website more than 1,800 cities nationwide, including about 70 in Michigan, where demonstrators are set to gather to express disapproval.
Demonstrators gathered in communities large and small. Many events on the East Coast have ended, but police clashed with some protesters in L.A.
The No Kings events come after days of protests following raids by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Los Angeles, and Trump’s subsequent deployment of thousands of National Guard and U.S. Marines troops to “temporarily protect” ICE and other federal personnel, along with federal property.
