Former NFL quarterback and offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich has joined Colorado’s staff according to multiple reports. Leftwich’s addition comes after he was seen at Colorado practices wearijng team gear and after the team hired Marshall Faulk as its running backs coach earlier this offseason.

Deion Sanders is bringing some more NFL experience to Colorado. The Buffaloes have brought former Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich onto their coaching staff, per Fox Sports' Jordan Schultz.

Coupled with the fact that Deion Sanders has loaded his staff with former NFL players and coaches like Pat Shurmur, Marshall Faulk, Domato Peko and Warren Sapp (among others), that photo sparked speculation that Prime was adding another veteran NFL presence to his staff.
