The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for multiple Southeast Texas counties starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday and lasting through 7 p.m.
On Thursday at 11:15 a.m. EDT the National Weather Service released a special weather statement until 1 p.m. EDT for Ontonagon, Baraga, Gogebic, Iron and Houghton counties.
The National Weather Service is expecting some of the coldest temperatures of the fall to descend on Alabama tonight, and Friday morning many will wake up to temperatures in the 30s. The weather service said the first frost of the fall will be likely tonight for parts of north and central Alabama, which will fall into the low to mid-30s tonight.
Halloween will likely be the coldest night before temperatures start increasing. By Tuesday, lows will be in the low 60s. The cooler weather will be accompanied by clear skies. Sunday night into Monday is the best chance for rain around 30%.
The National Weather Service issued a wind and fire warning. CPS Energy is warning customers it could impact their service.
Gusts as high as 52 mph and 51 mph have already been clocked in parts of Ocean County, and the nasty weather is expected to continue Thursday afternoon and Thursday evening.
Rain will intensify throughout Thursday, with the heaviest downpours expected late afternoon into early evening.
