The Department of Homeland Security issued an arrest warrant March 8 for Yunseo Chung, a permanent resident who moved to the U.S. at age 7 from South Korea.

Columbia University student was arrested by federal immigration agents this week, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security said Friday, as a Palestinian activist and recent grad from the school remained in detention in Louisiana.

A federal judge has blocked the deportation of Yunseo Chung, a 21-year-old Columbia University student and legal U.S. resident, after she was targeted by immigration authorities for participating in a pro-Palestinian protest.
