With the 2025 MLB trade deadline rapidly approaching, Dodgers pitcher Dustin May is reportedly drawing interest from a World Series rival.

The Los Angeles Dodgers’ search for relief pitching has hit a snag. While the team would like to acquire some of the top arms available at the trade deadline, they do not want to overpay, according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.

As a result, six-year pitcher Dustin May could be the odd man out. "In the last week, trade rumors have started to swirl around May, the oft-injured right-hander who is finally healthy this season — but also having an up-and-down campaign in his final year before free agency," Jack Harris wrote for the Los Angeles Times.
