Despite a temporary injunction against the dismissal of Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) chief Ronen Bar, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu named Vice-Admiral (ret.) Eli Sharvit, former head of the Israeli Navy as the new security chief.
