Leonardo Rizzuto, youngest son of the late reputed Sicilian Mafia boss Vito Rizzuto and a member of the notorious Rizzuto crime family, was among the arrests.

Police identified the suspect as Giuseppe Palermo, who was wanted under an Interpol red notice calling for his arrest in 196 countries.
